A candidate well-versed in City code, municipal organizational charts, finance, and the various comprehensive plans required of Cities. I would be able to hit the ground running and make sure everyone involved is choosing the responsible path.
-Tackling the visible and behind-the-scene aspect of homelessness.
-Protecting small businesses and holding large conglomerates accountable.
-Reorganize Police and Parks funding to create clear priorities and a seamless partnership.
-Increase the availability of recreational activities and fund the construction of a true community center in Auburn (not just an event space)
-Drastically improve and expand the Pool
-Hold Schools accountable for the use of their funds... Kids and teachers should not be treated as a number
-Clean up the City organizational chart to create a sense of cooperation rather than a feeling of disconnect, which is always shown during the enactment of Capital Improvement Projects.
-Do whatever it takes to push the City into the 21st Century and create a vibrant and lively Downtown once again... in a timely manner! We need to incentivize small and local businesses that add character and offer activities for residents to do. Apartments replacing Downtown stores is NOT the correct option.
-Create term limits for the Mayor (3 terms of 4 years) and all councilmembers (2 terms of 5 years).
